Surf Pines Neighborhood
The Surf Pines community is the largest gated community on the North Oregon Coast, with miles of ocean flanking the west edge. Ocean views are abundant, and many classic cedar shake and modern contemporary homes dot the development.
About the community
The community of Surf Pines is located mid-way between Warrenton and Gearhart, Oregon. Surf Pines has more than 3 miles of ocean frontage on the west edge and is bordered by Sunset Lake on the east side. The development is one of the earliest established on the Oregon Coast of it’s kind, and certainly one of a kind in Clatsop County.
The Surf Pines HOA consists of nearly 400 properties and 340 owners. Approximately 50% of the homes in the area are full time residences. The association has a full time security person that lives onsite that performs regular patrols and maintenance of the grounds.The two gated entrances provide an additional level of privacy.

The Surf Pines neighborhood has been impacted like most areas, with both a decline in sales and values since 2007. Keep in mind with a relatively small number of sales and listings that these charts will bounce wildly up and down from one month to the next.
