The first of about 20 ‘sold’ units from the November Cannery Loft Condominium Auction has officially closed and new deeds recorded. The actual recorded sales prices are far below previous sales in the Astoria condo development for units sold soon after construction was completed in 2007. It was reported by the auction company that conducted the Cannery Loft auction sold about 20 of the 29 new units available, and that additional units have been sold by the company since the Nov. 1 sale was held in Portland.
As of 12/1/2009 the following units have closed:
Unit 209B sold for $127,000
Unit 309B sold for $143,000
Unit 306B sold for $161,000
Unit 206B sold for $144,000
Unit 208B sold for $150,000
Unit 205B sold for $144,000

The Cannery Lofts condominiums are located in Astoria at the foot of 39th St. and Abbey Lane. Built by Urban Pacific Builders the lofts are a very trendy style for Astoria, and have a great river front location.
